WARDPOWER is an offshoot of the former Thomas Wards industrial group (hence the Wardpower trading name). We are a Sheffield based company that has been building generating sets for over 50 years, specialising in the manufacture of project specific equipment. We used to spend a lot of time on our Website hinting at how good we are: We’ve decided to be a little bit more direct: We are simply the best Specialist Generating Set Company in Europe.

We also used to be a Generating Set company that just installed them – now we are a Power Systems company that also manufactures Generating Sets

What We Do:

	Design and manufacture of Diesel, Gas and Bio-diesel Generating Sets from 50KVA to 3MVA (single prime mover)
	Ancillary Systems including LV distribution systems, bulk fuel systems and heat recovery systems
	Site Services including withdrawal of existing equipment, installation of new equipment, commissioning and service.
	Project Management (Sub-Contractor and Principal Contractor) and consultancy services including Generator Sizing Studies, Specification Preparation, Tender Assessment, Grading Studies, Project Management, Commissioning Management
	Supplier’s of Type Tested/Registered Generating Sets for National Grid and Scottish Power

Why we are Different:

	We do not have a standard range: Everything that we build (yes we build – we are not an agent or re-seller) is to the customer’s exact specification. If the client doesn’t know what they want, we’ll work out the best solution for them.
	We employ some of the best and most highly qualified people in the industry. We have the experience, training and qualifications to do the right job in the right way, the way that the client wants it doing.
